Exhibitions
The Fairlynch Museum has an exhibition entitled Writers in and around Budleigh Salterton.
The exhibition reveals that the local area has long been associated with writers from a wide range of genre.

The Brook Gallery will hold an exhibition with the work of Colin See-Paynton.
His work is represented in many private and public collections including the V & A and The National Museums and Galleries of Wales. He is one of the leading exponents of wood engraving in Britain.

The film will be introduced by Nigel Cozens, a friend of the author, John Fowles.
1981 film directed by Karel Reisz and adapted by playwright Harold Pinter. It is based on the novel of the same title by John Fowles. The film stars Meryl Streep and Jeremy Irons and concerns a Victorian love affair set in Lyme Regis.
